The first step - why doesn't it happen to me?Take yourself seriously! Nothing happens before you really have decided that it is all about you. You are the main character in your life and there is nothing and no one you can blame. No excuses! When you have made this decistion life/nature knows what you want and can respond to what you are sending out. What is it that you really want? Find out why you want to wake up, find yourself, come home etc? Is it because you want to:
If you come to the conclusion that you want something else no wonder why you don't wake up. You are in fact telling life that you want something else. Be completely honest about what you want. Not before you are clear about that to wake up is the only thing you really want, but you want other things also or you put conditions for how it should happen, it can happen. Are you prepared to let go of everything and follow your heart and your inner voice? Do you feel you want to wake up, but...? Maybe you want a good economy, good sex, or something else that makes you feel safe and alive? Naked, vulnerable, and willing to dieDo you dare to be with defense, open, and not knowing what will come? Do you dare to be wounded, feel pain, and stay when it hurts? Not to escape whatever happens? Do you dare to die to what is your habitual life, what you know and that which gives you a sense of safety? Do you want experiences, a kick, or do you dare to be completely empty, not knowing anything? The first stepTaking the first step is the most important thing you ever can do. This step is based on that you know what you want and that you are willing to risk everything. When you have done this life will respond, probably faster than you would imagine. Follow your heart, trust it even if it seems illogical and others say that you are wrong and "you can't do that...". Be prepared to experience loneliness both inside yourself and outside in your daily life. There is no way to escape from this loneliness. It thrives on the illusion about separation, that there is a me and a no-me. Stop, see what remains and what comes and goes. The first step, the most important step, is the turning point! You know who you are beyond any doubt, you have seen it inside you. But you have not seen it outside yourself, in the world around you. There is still two. But you can feel the breeze from the sea, the unlimited ocean, Presence, and you are open and willing to receive. Now there is no way back. You have your head in the tiger's mouth and it is ok to be devoured, loose the ego and be lived by Presence. You have nothing to loose!
