Signs of an awakening

1. No me (ego). Nothing keeps your life together, no center.

2. No time.

3. No space, no sense of distance.

4. The body is empty, weightless, no resistance when the body moves or when you act.

5. Softer and richer perception.

6. It is not possible to think in time. You cannot project forwards or backwards in time, no past, no future, just this moment which cannot be described. It just is as it is. What you are is before words, perceptions, and all kinds of experiences.

7. The now is so intense and alive. There is no energy in going into the past or futures. You clearly see that time is just a concept or thought.

8. Your heart is no longer yours but the whole world. Everything is alive inside you and you are everything.

9. There is no resistance when you do something. Life just flows through you.

10. Everything just happens by itself. There are no actors, no individuals or persons, just one life that lives through everything and contains everything.

11. Thoughts and emotions are not stuck in anything. They just pass through you without leaving any trace. Like thin clouds in the sky.

12. You feel full, complete, overwhelmed by love and gratitude and yet you are immovable. Nothing more to do, just be here availiable to life. You become silent, no words can express this reality which is more real and alive than anything else. There is simply not anything else, just this. Like in my poem: "This love takes everything, leaves no dust" (from the poem Awakening).
