The Forest

Today I took a long walk
on narrow gravelled roads
through the forest.
I stopped by a brook.
Listened to the merry sound
of the gurgling water.

I saw the trees, the water.
I heard the birds singing.

Tears in my eyes.
Receiving all this beauty.
Thank you Life,
for taking care of me.
Thank you Life,
for showing me all this.

This beauty beyond words,
resting in itself.
Moving without effort or goal.
Just for me – this moment.
Blessed!

Life kisses itself,
dancing softly,
within itself.

This is how it is.
This is who I truly am.
Silent, full, alive!

A walk on dusty roads in the forest made this lines come to me.
